Vice President

Skate Safe Compliance Chair
-
Serve as the Club’s primary contact with U.S. Figure Skating for all aspects of program education and implementation.

Oversees the drafting and implementation of Club policies regarding the program.

Work with the Skating Director to verify that all Club coaches are SkateSafe® compliant per U.S. Figure Skating’s rules.
-
Work with the Club’s Membership Director to address complaints or incidents within the Club’s membership.
-
Seek to arbitrate or resolve any issues locally, if they do not qualify as a formal U.S. Figure Skating complaint.
-
Refer all reports of violations to the appropriate U.S. Figure Skating committee.

Keeps current on U.S. Figure Skating’s updates to the program, and works with management for the proper dissemination of all appropriate information to the Club’s membership.
Membership Chair

Serve as the Club’s primary contact with U.S. Figure Skating for all aspects of membership

Provides education to skaters and parents in U.S. Figure Skating Bridge programs on club membership and its benefits
-
Owns and leads annual membership drive with U.S. Figure Skating
Competition Chair
-
Owns planning and execution of the club’s annual competition, The Sierra Nevada Ice Classic
-
Conducts all planning phases of the competition, including, but not limited to costing, judges invitations, ice rental, and marketing.

Partners with the club President, Vice President, and Treasurer to ensure agreement on all aspects of competition planning.

Submits applications to U.S. Figure Skating if competition will be part of Excel or the Qualifying Series.
-
Ensure competition volunteer roster is fully staffed.
Test Chair

Serves as the Club’s primary contact with U.S. Figure Skating for all aspects of testing

Adult Chair

Oversees all aspects of Adult Skating for the Club

Ensures all adult skaters are aware of the Club and the benefits of membership

Creates and markets skating opportunities for adult skaters
Coaches Liaison

Manages the relationship between the rink’s coaches and the Club

Ensures that all coaches are Skate Safe compliant

Communicates the Club’s initiatives and intentions to the coaches
-
Brings any relevant coaching concerns to the attention of the Club’s Board of Directors
Social Media Chair

Owns all the Club’s social media accounts

Posts relevant skating content to the Club’s social media channels

Posts content of our skaters to the Club’s social media channels

Ensures any events, competitions, or test sessions are marketed via social media
